Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office.

"Nobel Peace Prize laureate Lord David Trimble has today nominated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and UAE Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan for the Nobel Peace Prize," the statement said.
