The niece of US President Donald Trump Mary Trump said that her uncle is a criminal, cruel man, and a traitor, and he should be in prison after the expiration of his term as president of the United States.

Axar.az reports citing Associated Press that, Mary Trump expressed her strong disagreement that the trial of Donald Trump could exacerbate political divisions in the country.

To be honest, it's pretty offensive to say over and over again that the American people can handle this and that we just need to move on, she told AP.

If anyone deserves a lawsuit, she said, it is Donald Trump.

Otherwise, we will be open to the arrival of someone who, believe it or not, will even be worse than him, she added.

Mary Trump is the author of the sensational book about her uncle.

Her new book, The Reckoning, will not be out until July 2021.
