Will Biden keep US troops in Afghanistan?

Newly elected US President Joseph Biden may correct Trump's decision to withdraw from Afghanistan, but it is unlikely that there will be cardinal changes.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Russian President's Special Envoy for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov.

"A change in the US administration will affect the process of resolving the situation in Afghanistan peacefully. We do not rule out that Biden may correct the decisions of previous administrations to withdraw troops from Afghanistan. Big changes are unlikely to be talked about. Changes can be expected in the parameters of the withdrawal of American troops," he said.
