Coronavirus cases in Iran surpass 1.32 million

The total number of people diagnosed with the coronavirus infection in Iran has exceeded 1,324,000.

Axar.az reports that the Health Ministry’s spokeswoman stated this.

Sima Sadat Lari announced at a press conference that the total number of people tested positive for COVID-19 infection in Iran rose to 1,324,395 on Saturday after the detection of 6,100 new cases since yesterday.

Of the new cases detected in the past 24 hours, 508 patients have been admitted to the hospital, she added.

At least 1,113,224 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran, the spokeswoman added.
