Russia reports nearly 23,000 new coronavirus cases

Russia on Monday reported 22,857 more coronavirus cases, raising its overall count above 3.59 million.

Axar.az reports that according to official data, 3,679 of the new cases were recorded in the capital Moscow, and 3,287 in St. Petersburg.

The country also confirmed 471 virus-linked fatalities, taking the nationwide toll to 66,037. Recoveries increased by 18,333 to reach 2.97 million.
