Kyrgyzstan refuses Pfizer vaccines.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Health Minister Alimkadir Beshenaliyev.

According to him, Kyrgyzstan has joined the COVAX program of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization.

"The global alliance has offered us the Pfizer vaccine, but it needs to be kept at -70 degrees. We need special vaccine refrigerators to bring, store and vaccinate the population. We don't have such refrigerators. We wanted to buy them, but these devices cost $ 4,000. Another $ 2 million should be allocated for the Pfizer vaccine. Unfortunately, our budget does not have that much money," he said.
