We have agreed with the EU - Cavushoglu

We value the EU summit as an outstretched hand to Turkey, and we respond to that. Turkey has always been interested in the healthy development of relations.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavushoglu at a press conference at the country's permanent mission to the European Union.

Cavushoglu said that Turkey is determined to protect the interests of the Turkish community on the island of Cyprus, to determine the water borders in the Aegean Sea in accordance with international norms and other issues.

The Minister noted that important discussions were held with the European Union on the visa issue. In particular, an agreement was reached to develop a roadmap for the development of Turkish-EU relations.
