If the United States fires ballistic missiles, the Poseidon submarine will be Russia's insurance.

Axar.az informs this was reported by Forbes.

"Russia is serious about accepting this unmanned aerial vehicle (25 meters) with nuclear energy," the publication said.

The author of the article writes that Poseidon has the ability to expose US coastal cities and military bases to strong radiation in the final stages of a nuclear war. Russia is building four nuclear submarines to carry this "Doomsday Weapon."
