Tonoyan revealed: Russia was helping in the Karabakh war

In the Second Karabakh War, Russia did its best to fulfil its allied obligations.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from former Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan.

"Throughout the war, I was in constant contact with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. There were days when we talked on the phone several times a day. For obvious reasons, I will not disclose all the details, but I can say unequivocally that during the war, Russia did its best to fulfil its allied obligations," he said.
