The United States is ready to work with Russia and China on the issue of Iran's nuclear program.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from US Senator Linda Thomas Greenfield, a candidate for the US Permanent Mission to the United Nations.

"We will take all necessary measures to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. We will work in this direction with our friends and allies. At the same time, our cooperation with other members of the UN Security Council is important to bring Iran to justice. If my candidacy for the UN is approved, I will try to find common ground with Russia and China," the diplomat said.
