Erdogan sent congratulatory letter to Putin

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sent a letter to Russia's President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of Russia Day, RIA Novosti reported.

In his letter to Putin, Erdogan said he wishes the Russian-Turkish relations to reach a deserved level.

Turkey's Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, for his part, has sent a letter to his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev and expressed hope that the relations between Ankara and Moscow will reach the level which is necessary for the common interests of two countries' peoples.
