Armenians trying to seize the government house detained

Five people were detained for trying to seize the Armenian government building.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Armenian Investigative Committee.

According to the report, a group of people tried to seize the building of the executive body during the rally yesterday.

The Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case under Article 34-219, Part 2, Clause 1 (participation in the seizure of buildings, structures, vehicles, communications or a group of communications by prior agreement).

It should be noted that several hundred people recently gathered in the centre of Yerevan and demanded the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Protesters tried to break into the government building but failed. Police closed all entrances to the building.
