Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron next week.

Axar.az reports that the claim was made by the French newspaper Lopinion.

"According to our information, Erdogan is expected to meet with Macron in a telephone or video conference on the second day of next week. This meeting can reduce tensions between the two countries," the newspaper said.

It should be noted that French President Emmanuel Macron showed an unfair position on Turkey's policy in the fight against terrorism, the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as the Karabakh issue, in return for which Erdogan called Macron a scourge of France.
