Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the events in the country.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Putin stressed the importance of maintaining law and order in Armenia, bringing the situation within the law, and called on all parties to exercise restraint," Peskov said.
