Akar responded to the US S-400 proposal

In the case of the S-400, it is not in the sense of the alliance to impose some restrictions, especially on the F-35.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar.

"We wanted to buy Patriot systems from the United States, but for various reasons, it was not possible. We bought an S-400 from Russia. Turkey has simply exercised its right to sovereignty. For 10 years, we have not received a sufficient response to our proposals to the United States. We will use the S-400 independently. These systems are used when there is a need for threat and danger," Akar said.

The United States has said Turkey should not use the S-400.
