The foundations of the third reactor at the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant will be laid by the Presidents of Turkey and Russia.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez.

The groundbreaking ceremony will take place on March 10, the Minister said.

"Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin will join the ceremony in video format."
