Pashinyan called on his supporters

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called on his supporters to hold a rally in Yerevan on March 1.

Axar.az reports that Pashinyan wrote about it on his Facebook page.

"Dear compatriots, I invite you to a rally in the square in Yerevan on Monday at 18:30," Pashinyan said.

March 1 is remembered as a day of tragedy in Armenia. On March 1, 2008, at least 10 people were killed when authorities opened fire on protesters during a rally to protest the results of the presidential election. Nikol Pashinyan was among those arrested during the protest.
