The US arms embargo on Russia came as a surprise

Russia does not supply arms to the United States.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation.

The service said the US arms embargo on Russia was somewhat confusing. Thus, it was noted that the last time the US government supplied military equipment to Russia during the Great Patriotic War under the "Land Lease Program" ("Lending").

The United States has previously banned Russia from supplying technology for defence weapons.
