Statement from the DM regarding the crashed helicopter

Investigations in the area where the military helicopter crashed in Bitlis did not reveal any signs of an explosion or fire.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Turkish National Defense Ministry.

According to the ministry, the preliminary investigation revealed that the helicopter crashed as a result of sudden changes in weather conditions.

"Relevant units of the Land Forces Command have arrived in the area. The final result will be known after their detailed investigation. As a result of a military helicopter crash in Bitlis yesterday, 11 Turkish soldiers, including one general, were killed and two were injured."
