The desire of the United States to return to the original text of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on Iran's nuclear program is a pragmatic and correct approach.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Mikhail Ulyanov, head of Russia's permanent mission to international organizations in Vienna.

"In this regard, Americans have shown a very responsible approach. At this stage, they are ready to discuss a return to what is only. It is very rational, practical and correct," Ulyanov said.

Ulyanov noted that his country is concerned about the ambitions of Iran and the United States:

"In this situation, we see either Tehran or Washington announcing that the other side must take the first step. The only way forward is to synchronize the practical steps."
