COVID-19 ignited a demographic decline

Birth rates throughout Europe have dropped dramatically due to coronavirus.

Axar.az reports this information was reported by El Pais newspaper.

According to the report, in December 2020 and January 2021, the birth rate in Spain decreased by 22.6%. A similar situation was reported in other European countries.

Particularly in Italy (21.6%) and France (13%) there was a sharp decline in birth rates.

According to the newspaper, this will lead to a strong demographic recession throughout Europe.
