Iran reports 8,313 new COVID-19 cases

A sum of 8,313 new patients infected with COVID-19 has been identified in the country based on confirmed diagnosis criteria during the past 24 hours.

Axar.az reports that Iranian Health Ministry Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said on Monday.

She added that the total number of COVID-19 patients has increased to 1,698,005.

“Unfortunately, 99 patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours, increasing the number of the dead to 60,786," the spokeswoman noted.
