Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov begins on Monday his official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as part of a tour that also includes Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Axar.az reports citing foreign media that according to the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman María Zakharova, Lavrov will meet with his counterparts and politicians from those Arab nations during his visit that will last until March 12.
Zajárova said that Lavrov´s agenda includes the analysis of 'all of Russia's relations with its friendly countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar) to define the ways for their future development.'
Russian foreign minister will also deal with future coordination in the world hydrocarbon market and the battle against Covid-19.
Zakhrova stated that Lavrov will also hold talks on the present situation in the Middle East, conflicts in Syria, Libya and the Persian Gulf, as well as on Israel-Palestine fights.
