A strong earthquake shook Algeria: 3 buildings collapsed

5.9 magnitude earthquake shakes Algeria

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Algerian Center for Astronomical, Astrophysical and Geophysical Research.

The epicentre was located 28 km from the city of Bejaya.

According to the Civil Defense Directorate, six people were injured in the quake.

In addition, three old and empty buildings in the city were destroyed, and other buildings were damaged.

The quake was felt in 12 provinces of the country.
