COVID-19 claims 117 lives in Iran over the past 24 hours

11,660 new cases of infection with the COVID-19 were found over the past 24 hours, 1,330 of whom were hospitalized.

Axar.az reports this was stated by Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari on Friday.

She added that with the 117 new deaths, the country's total COVID-19 deaths mounted to 62,876.

Lari noted that 1,633,949 patients out of a total of 1,908,974 infected people have recovered or been discharged from hospitals.
