Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will resign in late April.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Lilit Makunts, head of the My Step faction.

According to him, the exact date of his resignation has not been determined yet.

He said the ruling party's election list would be compiled by May.

Note that the early elections in Armenia will be held on June 20. According to the constitution, the prime minister must resign two months before the election.

Pashinyan has announced that he will resign, but will act as prime minister.
