We are watching the progress of Russia and China on hypersonic weapons.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Pentagon spokesman John Kirby.

"This is an important area. We are exploring the possibilities of this field. We are studying the importance of these technologies, as well as the activities of other countries that challenge our national interests," Kirby said.
