Ukraine's call from the United States to Russia

The United States calls on Russia to respect Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty and not to escalate tensions.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from US Defense Department spokesman John Kirby. According to him, it is difficult to talk about Russia's intentions at the moment.

He said the country was increasing its military presence in Crimea and other southeastern regions of Ukraine, but the United States continued to monitor the situation.
