Hayk Galumyan has been appointed the new governor of Armenia's Tavush region on the border with Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the decision was made at a meeting of the Armenian government.

It should be noted that Ayk Galumyan is the brother of Vahe Galumyan, a member of the My Step Bloc. He is considered the godfather of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
