Russia's tactics in eastern Ukraine are similar to those used by Hitler during Nazi Germany.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Ukrainian Colonel Petr Nedzelsky.

"Remember how Hitler attacked Poland? Abwehr officers (German intelligence agency) attacked German soldiers at the border post wearing the uniform of the Polish army. Then Hitler announced to the whole world that Poland had attacked them. This was an excuse for Germany's attack on Poland," he said.

According to him, Kyiv is right to draw the attention of the world community to what is happening in the Donbas:

"The world must help Ukraine to prevent possible Kremlin provocations in the near future."
