The army opened fire on protesters, the UN - Reaction

Clashes broke out again between the army and protesters in Myanmar.

Axar.az reports 80 civilians were killed in the incident.

Commenting on the issue, the UN said it was closely following the events in Baghdad:

"We are receiving information that heavy weapons have been used against the civilian population and that no medical intervention has been allowed for the wounded. The violence must end immediately," he said.
