This is our trade goal with Ukraine - Erdogan

During the meetings, we focused on our strategic cooperation and discussed all our relations in detail. The Black Sea must be a sea of peace, tranquility and cooperation. The current crisis must be resolved peacefully through diplomatic means. We wish this disturbing situation to end immediately and the ceasefire to continue.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who is on a working visit to his country.

President Erdogan expressed hope that the Free Trade Agreement would be signed as soon as possible and the trade volume between the two countries would reach the target of $ 10 billion.

"Today, my dear friend and I discussed tourism, which is the most important aspect of our economic and humanitarian relations. Citizens of Turkey and Ukraine can travel to each other's countries without passports, only with ID cards. As you know, we have established a system in our country with a safe tourism certificate that will receive our guests without risk."
