Turkey and Libya are holding joint exercises

The Turkish Armed Forces have launched underwater defense exercises in the Libyan Navy.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Turkish National Defense Ministry.

According to the ministry's Twitter account, this is in support of the Libyan army:

"We continue to train the Libyan army to support our Libyan brothers, with whom we have a multifaceted relationship based on a five-hundred-year-old common history."
