If the United States and its allies want Ukraine to join NATO in the future, they need to talk about it directly and take practical steps to help Ukraine. Words are not enough.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in an interview with CNN.

He said the United States is a good friend of Ukraine, but US President Joseph Biden must do more to stop Russian aggression.

He said NATO membership would guarantee Ukraine's security.
