Russia is opening another military base in Armenia

Armenia and Russia are discussing the expansion of the 102nd base, in particular, the establishment of a military base in Syunik.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speech in the Armenian parliament. According to him, the military alliance with Russia plays a key role in ensuring the country's security.

He noted the importance of the joint Armenian-Russian joint forces and a unified air defence system in ensuring security.
