Russia has sent troops in the Caucasus to the Crimea

Russia has deployed units of the 58th Army in Crimea.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Russian Defense Ministry.

It should be noted that the 58th Army is part of the Southern Military District. The permanent location of the army is the North Caucasus republics. The headquarters of the 58th Army is in Vladikavkaz (North Ossetia). It was this army that took part in the processes in Dagestan in the 1990s, the 2008 Georgian war and the 2014 Donbas war (unofficially).
