China: We strongly oppose this step by the US

Beijing strongly opposes the statements of the leaders of the United States and Japan on the situation in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Xinjiang.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Chinese Embassy in Washington. The statement said the issues were China's internal affair and that Beijing would not tolerate foreign intervention.

Earlier, the leaders of the United States and Japan issued a statement expressing concern over the situation in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Xinjiang, as well as the East and South China Seas.
