The US: We may protect Japan with nuclear weapons

The United States is determined to defend Japan with nuclear weapons under the 1960 Security Assurance and Partnership Agreement.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the White House.

Earlier, the leaders of the United States and Japan met. The statement issued at the end of the meeting mentioned Taiwan for the first time in 52 years. This point, and the statement in general, has caused strong dissatisfaction in China.
