Russia adds 8,589 COVID-19 cases

Russia confirmed 8,589 new coronavirus infections over the past 24 hours, taking the nationwide tally to 4,710,690, the official monitoring and response centre said Monday.

Axar.az reports that the national COVID-19 death toll rose by 346 to 105,928 in the past day, while the number of the country's recoveries grew by 6,818 to 4,333,598.

Meanwhile, Moscow, Russia's worst-hit region, reported 2,279 new cases, taking its total to 1,066,052.
