We must act before Russia attacks - Lithuania

The European Union should discuss new sanctions against Russia without waiting for an attack on Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis.

"Ukraine's attitude and position are very calm, purposeful and worthy of respect," he said.

He said sanctions should be discussed without crossing the "red line".
