The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine monitors the situation on the Russian border around the clock.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexei Danilov.

According to him, Russia is trying to provoke Ukraine and its partners by deploying tens of thousands of troops in the northeast.

"The Ukrainian army in 2021 is significantly different from the Ukrainian army in 2014 and is ready to put the aggressor in a worthy place. We are preparing different response scenarios."
