Assad officially nominated his candidacy

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has appealed to the Supreme Court to register as a candidate in the elections.

Axar.az reports this information was spread by the SANA agency.

It should be noted that the identification of candidates for the presidential election in Syria was recently allowed.

The country's presidential election is scheduled for May 26.
