Zelensky: Ukraine wants peace

Reducing the number of troops on the Ukrainian border reduces the tension proportionally.

Axar.az reports that the statement was made by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on Twitter.

The head of state said that Kiev welcomes any step to de-escalate the situation in the Donbas:

"Ukraine wants peace. We thank our international partners for their support."

Russia has withdrawn troops from the Ukrainian border, announcing the end of training in Ukraine.
