The Flagship Rapper Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TİHA), developed by Baykar with local and national capabilities within the project implemented under the leadership of the Turkish Ministry of Defense Industry, successfully completed its first shooting test today.
Axar.az reports the company's technical director Seljuk Bayragdar said this on his official Twitter page.
According to the report, Turkey's first unmanned aerial vehicle, Bayragdar Akinci, which has successfully completed many tests before, was developed by Turkish national missile system manufacturer ROKETSAN for the first firing test. The once-used MAM-T was launched with new generation ammunition. The first flight of the ammunition flight test campaign took place on April 17 with Akinci PT-3. The second flight took place on April 21, and the first shots were fired on April 22.
