Kyrgyzstan refuses assistance from Tajikistan

Kyrgyzstan does not intend to demand compensation from Tajikistan for the border incident.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the head of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Kyrgyzstan Kamchibek Tashiyev.

According to him, Kyrgyzstan has enough resources to restore the destroyed facilities:

"We have enough strength and capabilities. We will build houses for our people on our own. If the Tajik side ever asks us to pay for the damage, we will return to this issue."
