The fierce retaliatory fire of the Ukrainian army is the most effective means of calming the enemy on the front.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Viktor Muzhenko.

"Ukraine's military command must change tactics in the war with Russia in the Donbas. The escalation requires a tough response. Despite the withdrawal of Russian troops from the border, the risk of Russian occupation is still high," he said.

According to Muzhenko, the threats voiced by Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev during his visit to Crimea show this:

"This is an element of preparation. The Russian military activity over the past month is not a preparation for a major war, but an attempt to intimidate."
