Akar: The countries we consider friends are arming the PKK

Unfortunately, some friendly countries have given missiles to the PKK.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar. He said each of these weapons was a threat and a great risk to the Turkish soldier.

Akar said that in operations against the PKK, they found Dochka weapons (made in the USSR - ed.) In caves.

The Minister also said that the PKK is not a Kurdish organization:

"The PKK does not represent our Kurdish brothers in any way. They have an identity problem. There are Armenians, Europeans, Africans and, unfortunately, Turks in the PKK."
