France gives Egypt 30 fighters -on credit

Egypt will buy 30 Rafale fighters from France.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Egyptian Defense Ministry. Cairo will receive the fighters on a loan that is scheduled to be repaid within 10 years.

The ministry did not disclose the value of the agreement.

Egyptian media reported that according to unofficial sources, the deal could be worth $ 4.5 billion. Under the agreement, Egypt will receive from France not only fighters but also missiles and equipment.
