US officials will continue to take unilateral action against Russia over the situation in eastern Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who is on a visit to Ukraine.

"Together with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, we laid flowers at the monument to the Ukrainians killed in the Russian aggression in Donbas. As long as Moscow does not choose a peaceful solution to the conflict, the United States, along with its allies and partners, will compensate Russia," Blinken said.
