Statement on Turkish-Egyptian FM meetings in Egypt

The situation in Syria, Libya and Iraq were discussed at official meetings with the Egyptian side.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

"The talks were held in a cordial and comprehensive atmosphere. During the meeting, along with bilateral issues, the latest situation in Syria, Iraq and Libya was discussed, and the importance of ensuring peace and security in the Eastern Mediterranean was stressed," the Foreign Ministry said.

It should be noted that this is the first official meeting between Egypt and Turkey in eight years.
